Toone 1.0.78 turns two jobs that used to be forms into conversations: sharing a routine to Explore and setting up a routine you found there. It also brings Explore pages in the app in line with the website, shows agent replies from the Mac's notch, and makes question cards available in every Claude conversation.

This post walks through each change and links to the guide that covers it in detail.

Share a routine by talking it through

Sharing used to mean filling in a listing form. In 1.0.78 you start from the routine itself: open the Organization tab, right-click the routine and choose Share…. You can share one routine, create a bundle of several, or send an update to one you already shared.

A Share assistant then opens in chat. It prepares a separate public copy of your routine, so the routine you run every day is never edited. In that copy, personal files become placeholders that each person fills in, and your personal details are replaced. Toone checks the copy for secrets, private data and unsafe instructions, and anything it finds has to be resolved before you can submit.

The assistant also writes the parts of the listing you would otherwise draft by hand:

  • a suggested title for you to confirm, and for a bundle, which routines to include;
  • the category, the audiences it is useful for and the public page, which you can change by asking in the chat;
  • a cover image, or a prompt to choose one yourself if it cannot create one.

A checklist card shows the listing coming together. When it reads Ready — waiting for your confirmation, nothing is submitted until you choose Yes, share it. The submission then goes through review before it appears on Explore. The complete flow is in Share a routine on Explore.

Set up a routine from Explore the same way

Adding a routine from Explore now follows the same pattern. Choose Use this routine on the web or in the app, and a setup conversation opens with a checklist. The setup assistant:

  • places the routine in a department of your organization, creating one if nothing fits, and tells you where it went;
  • adds the routine's agents and Skills without overwriting anything you already have;
  • fills each input from your project, or from the listing's default, where it can.

You only see a question card for inputs it could not resolve, one at a time and with a suggested answer, and your answers are reused on every run. If a routine needs a tool that is not connected yet, the checklist shows where to connect it in Settings. The setup assistant never enters credentials or creates accounts for you.

You can try it with the first bundle on Explore:

Step-by-step instructions are in Import a routine from Explore.

Explore pages in the app match the website

Listings inside the app now use the same structure as the pages on trytoone.com/explore: what you get, who it is for, how it works and what setup prepares. Whether you find a routine in a browser or in Toone, you read the same information before deciding to add it. The Explore feature guide explains each section of a listing.

Agent replies from the notch

When an agent replies while you are working in another app, the reply now appears from your Mac's notch. Hover over it to keep it open while you read. It is a lighter way to follow a long-running conversation without switching windows.

Question cards in every Claude conversation

Question cards, the structured prompts agents use when they need a decision from you, now work in every Claude conversation, not only in specific flows. Agents can ask a focused question with suggested answers, and you answer in one click.
